About Steven Paul Ogden

About The Provider

Dr. Ogden is a board-certified rural family medicine physician. He completed his rural family medicine residency in Bogalusa after completing medical school. Dr. Ogden pursued medicine because he believes that God called him to serve the medical needs of the community. He focuses on treating the whole patient – body, mind and spirit. His special interests include disease prevention, skin diseases, simple fracture care and sports medicine. Dr. Ogden provides a comprehensive spectrum of care including the diagnosis and managing of acute and chronic complex illnesses and personalized care coordination with specialists. In addition to his outpatient clinic practice, Dr. Ogden also serves as a hospitalist on the inpatient side.



Dr. Ogden is a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

    Doctor Ogden is amazing. I live in Baton Rouge and choose to drive to Bogalusa to see Dr. Ogden. He is patient, kind, and takes his time to explain everything. You feel like he is truly concerned and cares.
