About Emily Jo Harrison

About The Provider

Dr. Harrison is a Louisiana native and graduate of Tulane University located in New Orleans, LA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine at Louisiana State School of Medicine in New Orleans. In 2014 she completed her pediatric residency where she was Chief Resident at Louisiana State School of Medicine.  She is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Her training includes certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

    Will always recommend Dr. Harrison. Switched to her after one visit from pediatrician we had used for seven years. She'll always be our go to now.

    Dr. Harrison was very thorough throughout our visit. She asked a lot of questions to get a good history on my son, and genuinely seemed concerned. I was super grateful to have transitioned to her!
