Michelle is a Dual boarded as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC). She spent 15 years as an emergency department nurse, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. Michelle has a strong desire to help others live healthy lives, treat illnesses, and provide the quality care she believes all patients deserve. She pursued a nursing career because of her desire to care for others. She comes from a long line of nurses working in various aspects of the field. Michelle is a Bogalusa native. She has always felt encouraged and supported by the Bogalusa community. As a nurse practitioner she now feels more empowered to give back to the city that she will always call home.



Michelle was named Emergency Department Nurse of the Year in 2018. She is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau, and the American Nurses Association. She is active volunteer with the Arthritis Foundation.



Michelle enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking weekend trips to visit her daughter and watching her son compete athletically.
