Abdulla Madjid-Moosa, DO, received his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2012, and is joining us after completing a pulmonary critical care Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. In 2015, he completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Majid-Moosa is licensed and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Disaster Life Support and Basic Life Support. Becoming a physician was a natural decision for Dr. Majid-Moosa after admiring his great uncle's work as a doctor. He enjoys helping families at their most emotional and vulnerable states. During his free time, he volunteers with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

In this conversation, Dr. LeBlanc and Dr. Moosa explain our incidental lung nodule program, which is finding cancer that otherwise would go undetected. They emphasize the importance of collaboration, communication and a patient-centered approach in the fight against lung cancer.
