Dr. A. Johnston Waring III, MD completed his Family Medicine residency at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA. Dr. Waring was raised in Slidell, LA and then attended Louisiana State University graduating with a BS in Business Management. He went on to work for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department for several years. He left the fire department and returned to school at Agnes Scott College for Pre-Medical course work and continued his medical education by enter Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. His primary medical interests are preventative health care and sports medicine. In his spare time Dr. Waring enjoys spending time with his wife Annie, traveling, watching the Saints, fishing, and hiking.
