My appointments are always rushed with dr groves. I've never seen a psychiatrist for less than 45 min- hour. I've been told several times at appointments sorry but I have another patient. I don't feel she adequately understands where my mental health journey is because it's always rushed and I never have the opportunity to explain what is going on. She only asks about mood if I feel stable and that's it. Then uts let's continue meds and that's the whole appointment. I live a very complex life with military and legal issues. She knows this and still passes me off to a therapist which only helps so much because the medications I need have to be prescribed by a psychiatrist. But how can you know you are doing right by your patients when you are rushing them through the appointment and getting upset when I ask questions because of a medication I was on and now I'm off and would like to go back on. But you want to prescribe me something that will sedate me further and I already have fatigue issues due to low iron ( so low I get iron infusions). The process of dr groves seems unprofessional and just like I'm a number and paycheck.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Groves. She is compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in my well-being, she takes the time to listen, explain treatment options, and include me in every decision. Her knowledge and professionalism is exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Groves

The first ever meeting we did was absolutely terrible and I cried after. She was really harsh and showed no empathy. The other ones were a lot better and she was a lot happier.
